About HYS

Hon Young Semiconductor (HYS) was established in September 2021 in the Hsinchu Science Park, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Hon Hai (Foxconn) Technology Group. It is establishedaccording to Foxconn’s 3+3 strategy (three key emerging industries – electric vehicles, digitalhealth and robotics, and three key technologies – AI, semiconductors and new-generationcommunications). 

HYS provides wafer foundry services for both SiC and Si platforms. To serve the electric vehicles, industrial, and efficient energy applications, SiC products include metal oxide semiconductor fieldeffect transistors (MOSFETs) and Schottky barrier diodes (SBDs) for voltages ranging from 650V to 3300V. HYS is committed to technology innovation, high reliability, and quality to supportcustomers in developing new generations of high-efficiency and high-power electronic systems. Inthe area of traditional silicon-based material wafer foundry services, HYS offers process platformsincluding CMOS, Bipolar-CMOS-DMOS (BCD), ultra-high voltage LDMOS, Si- and SiC-MOSFET. HYS platforms service customers products including controller ICs, driver ICs, powermanagement ICs (PMIC), MOSFETs, IGBTs, diodes, and TVS.​
